I made the entirety of this game by myself.
My achievements on this project included:
- Designing thematic mechanics built around a toggleable lantern.
- Implementing a lantern illumination effect.
- Drawing all sprite assets using PICO-8's editor, making use of the extended color palette.
- Creating all audio assets using PICO-8's editor.

This was made for the 2021 PICO-8 Advent Calendar.
It was originally released on the Winter Solstice (December 21, 2021) but was rereleased with a third area and some additional polish on December 31, 2021.
